William Slorach Kerr was born in 1888 in Glasgow. His father Alexander Kerr was a salesman. He attended the University of Glasgow , Scotland from 1906-1915 , taking classes in Latin, Mathematics, English, Logic, Natural Philosophy, Astronomy, Education and Psychology for his MA and Chemistry and Astronomy for his BSc. He won an Ordinary class prize in 1909 in Natural Philosophy and a gained a first class certificate in Physical Laboratory in 1909 He graduated MA with second class honours in Math...

These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...
